What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) that we gather when you are accessing or using our Services, but not to the practices of companies we don’t own or control, or people that we don’t manage. We gather various types of Personal Information from our users and others, as explained in more detail below, and we use this Personal Information internally in connection with our Services, for example, to personalize, provide, and monitor and improve our Services, to allow you to set up a user account and profile, to contact you and allow other users to contact you through the Services, to respond to customer care and other inquiries, to process and fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to analyze how you use the Services. In certain cases, we may also share some Personal Information with third parties, but only as described below.
This Privacy Policy also covers our treatment of Personal Information about our Service Providers and Customers’ users and other third parties that we receive from our Service Providers and Customers and others. If you provide us with any Personal Information about another person, you represent and warrant that you have that person’s consent to do so and that such person has given explicit consent for us to collect, process, use and store their Personal Information for the purpose for which you have sent it to us and as set forth in this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.

We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any personal information about yourself to us. If you believe that a child under 13 may have provided us personal information, please contact us at privacy@inferencesolutions.com.

Will Inference Ever Change This Privacy Policy?

We’re constantly trying to improve our Services, so we may need to change this Privacy Policy from time to time as well, but we will alert you to changes by placing a notice on our website or by some other means. Please note that if you’ve opted not to receive legal notice emails from us (or you haven’t provided us with your email address), those legal notices will still govern your use of the Services, and you are still responsible for reading and understanding them. If you use the Services after any changes to the Privacy Policy have been posted, that means you agree to all of the changes. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used.

What Information Does Inference Collect?

Information You Provide to Us.

We receive and store any information that you provide to us. For example, through the registration process and/or through your account settings, making calls, requests for support through customer care, and otherwise using the Services, we may collect Personal Information such as your name, email address, location, phone number, payment information, and third-party account credentials (for example, your username for Google or other third party sites). Certain information may be required to register with us or to take advantage of some of our features.
In connection with your use of the Services, we may also collect information created or provided by you, or that we otherwise receive, in connection therewith that allows us to handle your communications as your desire, for instance information uploaded to Studio data tables, or responses to APIs or web service requests.
Information Collected Automatically by our Service
In the process of delivering your Service, we may collect information about you and end-users you use the service to communicate with. For example, your Tasks may enable end-users to make or receive calls or messages, connect to a third-party service and record speech through the Services. We will collect and maintain and store both conversation related data (e.g. phone numbers, durations) as well as conversational data (e.g. text messages, DTMF, or recorded speech) and use of third party services (e.g. transaction logs and confirmations), all of which may include Personal Information.

Information from our Service Providers

Our service providers and other third parties may also provide us with personal information about our customers, end users and others. For example, we may receive Personal Information and other information from our service providers, customers, message senders, mobile network operators, uploaded data, and databases with information relevant to mobile, landline, or telephone numbers submitted to our Services, and other third parties. This information may include, without limitation, telephone numbers, telephone numbers’ validity, type (e.g., mobile, landline, etc.), corresponding device status (e.g. whether or not it is currently available for messaging), roaming status, carrier, country of location, and whether or not the number has been ported.

Information Collected via our Website

Whenever you interact with our Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include your IP address, device identification, “cookie” information, the type of browser and/or device you’re using to access our Services, and the page or feature you requested. “Cookies” are identifiers we transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in our Services are visited and by how many people. For more information on our use of Cookies, see our Cookies Policy

How Else Does Inference Use that Information

Communication with you

We may communicate with you if you’ve provided us the means to do so. For example, if you’ve given us your email address, we email you about your use of the Services. Also, we may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. This confirmation helps us make our communications with you more interesting and improve our services. If you do not want to receive communications from us, please indicate your preference at http://info.inferencesolutions.com/Unsubscribe.html.

Improving our Service

Inference may use your data in aggregate to create algorithms and programs (“Tools”) that help us improve services and spot problem services. We use these Tools to improve our services and find Tasks that violate our Acceptable Use Policy or laws. For example, we study usage data to understand the use made of our service and create better experiences for end-users, customers and partners. Similarly, we may share your data with third parties involved in the delivery of our service for the same purpose.

Will Inference Share Any Of The Personal Information It Receives?

We may share your Personal Information with third parties as requested or directed by you through the Services (e.g. sharing your communications and related information to the users of the telephone numbers to which you send communications using the Services, or to which you respond to communications using the Services) and as described below or elsewhere in this Privacy Policy:

We may anonymize your Personal Information so that you are not individually identified and provide that information to our partners. We may also provide aggregate usage information to our partners, who may use such information to understand how often and in what ways people use our Services, so that they, too, can provide you with an optimal online experience. However, we never disclose aggregate usage information to a partner in a manner that would identify you personally, as an individual except as required to perform the Services or as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.

We will share your communications and related information (which may include Personal Information) with such business only to the extent that it is related to such transaction or service. We also need to provide the telephone number and related information our customers submit to our Number Insight and Verify Services to various third party database providers in connection with performing those Services; and depending on the relevant jurisdictions, we may obtain and disclose to our requesting customers the information obtained from such third party and publicly available databases, which may include, without limitation, a telephone number’s validity, type (e.g., mobile, landline, etc.), corresponding device status (e.g. whether or not it is currently available for messaging), roaming status, carrier, country of location, and whether or not the number has been ported. Our Site and communications sent through our Services may also contain links to third party websites or services. We have no control over the policies and practices of third party websites or businesses as to privacy, security or anything else (including, without limitation, how they collect, process or store mobile, landline, or other numbers to or from which communications are sent or received, or Personal Information contained in any communication or transaction), so if you choose to take part in any transaction or service relating to or utilizing a mobile network operator, aggregator, or referenced third party website or business, please review all such business’ or websites’ policies.
