Director, Channel Marketing(SF, Austin or Remote)

Inference’s go-to-market strategy is based on multi-tiered channel distribution.

 As the Director of Channel Marketing, you will report to our CMO and be responsible for the execution of marketing programs that drive bookings and monthly recurring revenue (MRR) through our partner channels. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in developing, launching and managing our most critical demand generation program. In this role, you will partner with sales, customer success and our channel account managers to ensure that we execute programs that maximize MRR generated from our marketing investment.

Successful candidates will have experience in channel marketing, possess strong critical thinking skills and have exceptional content development skills.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and launch Inference’s partner marketing program.

  • Prioritize our marketing investment across a network of world-wide partnerships.

  • Develop content assets that will be used in our partner demand generation campaigns.

  • Develop sales enablement assets and training for partners.

  • Maintain business plans for multiple partner categories.

  • Manage the Inference relationship with marketing peers at partner organizations. 

  • Collaborate with the Inference team to support the overall growth of our partner program.

Requirements

  • Must have experience managing partner marketing programs that demonstrably drove channel sourced pipeline.

  • 10+ years of experience in channel or partner marketing.

  • Ability to work strategically with partners to identify and implement product bundling, OEM and other distribution strategies.

  • Previous experience with Cisco, BroadSoft or other service solution sold through telcos is a plus.

  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills

  • Experience with the development of other content assets (Presentations, Video, Demonstrations, Web Content) is a plus.

  • Experience actively managing marketing programs.

  • Executive presence that will enable candidate to manager partner relationships and serve as a partner-facing representative for the business.

  • Desire to build a world class channel program.

  • Self-starter who is able to work independently as well as part of a highly distributed team.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment with minimal established process.

  • Ability to manage and track budgets effectively.

  • BA/BS.
